We strive to equip participants with the tools they need to connect with both people and planet in powerful ways.
In 2007, a group of passionate kayak anglers organized a field day with local children. That day inspired an outpouring of support and helped enrich our ties with the community and other like-minded organizations, leading us to form Paddle4Tomorrow.
Nearly two decades later, we continue to uplift youth, develop self-confidence and self-actualization, erase stigmas, promote tolerance and understanding, and help young people appreciate the environment through fun and sustainable activities. We not only value young people; we believe in them and know that they are capable of achieving great feats.
Our Board
The team driving the mission and vision
-

Tony Narcisse
Co-founder | Volunteer
Tony comes toP4T with a simple mission: to connect. Whether he is introducing young people to the outdoors or strengthening ties within the community, Tony believes in the transformative power of nature. Though he hails from Southern California, he has embraced life as an "adopted son of the South" during his 35 years in Atlanta. His favorite way to recharge is spending a day on the water or in the woods with his wife, family, and friends.
-

Ruth Narcisse
Co-founder | Volunteer
Ruth was with P4T in the beginning and we are excited to have her talents, spirit and organizational skills on our board of directors. A seasoned paddler, hiker and camper, Ruth spends as much of her free time as possible in the outdoors. When she isn't in the outdoors, she's a partner on a successful real estate team.

Fletch Griffin
Fletch enjoys sharing his passion and experience in paddle sports and the outdoors with everyone he meets. He does this through his active involvement with the kayak fishing community and as owner of Westbrook Supply Co., a full service kayak fishing shop in the heart of Atlanta. A former member of the U.S. Army, S.C.A.D. alumni and avid outdoorsman, Fletch's unique skill set has been an invaluable resource to our board.
-

Jessie Laverty
Jessie is excited to join the P4T board. She enjoys camping, paddling, and hiking with her family and friends, thanks to her avid outdoorsman father. Jessie is passionate about helping children experience nature and connecting with one another. She hopes to teach kids how to care for each other and the environment we live in. Outside of P4T, she works as an elementary school teacher.
-
Kim Collins
Kim is excited to rejoin the P4T board this year. She has enjoyed kayaking and working with children for many years. Through P4T, she has been able to combine these two passions. Kim has instilled the love of kayaking in her own children and looks forward to sharing that joy with more youth in Metro Atlanta.

Michael Schwartz
Michael has been a kayaking enthusiast for more than thirty years. He has paddled rivers, lakes, swamps and marshes all over the United States. Since retiring he has been an active volunteer with Paddle4Tomorrow, who wholeheartedly supports the organization’s mission to instill in children from all backgrounds a love of nature and kayaking. His roles in the organization include marketing, photography and acting as a water marshal to assure the safety and enjoyment of young paddlers.
-

Mark Poole
Mark is a long-time volunteer and supporter of Paddle4Tomorrow and is excited to serve on the board. He grew up in North Georgia with a grandfather and father that, through fishing, hunting, boating, and camping, instilled a passion and respect for the outdoors. His desire is to introduce young people to the outdoors, particularly those who didn’t have the examples and opportunities he did growing up. He believes that the education, experiences, and relationships Paddle4Tomorrow provides will create active, passionate stewards that will protect and champion our natural resources, and recreational opportunities, far into the future.

Bahen Privett
Bahen's passion for being on the water and sharing that experience with others has guided his career in the paddlesports industry. He is the owner of Southeastern Paddlesports, a sales and marketing agency, and is on the board of directors of the Paddlesports Trade Coalition and a member of the paddlesports committee for 360 Adventure Collective. He is based in Asheville, NC but is lucky enough to spend time around the entire southeast.
